A 10 year old boy from Anderson County has died whilst riding his mini dirt bike.
Troy James Mattison died on his dirt bike whilst riding it off of Murdock road. Troy was wearing a cape around his neck whilst riding the bike, investigators have said that they believe the cape got caught in the chain of the bike and tightened around his neck.
Troy was found by his mother, who is a nurse, and received CPR from her. The firefighters and Emergency services arrived they called for a helicopter which carried Troy to Greenville, where he dies on arrival.
