A disqualified mini moto rider was disqualified for a longer period for free wheeling a mini moto with the engine off.
The man Martin McIlwraith was caught free wheeling the bike when the police spotted him, McIlwraith who works for the mini moto club in Glasgow was free wheeling the bike with no petrol in it and with the engine turned off as he was helping unload a new shipment of bikes.
The courts fined the 19 year old £230 and banned him for a further 12 months. McIlwraith had no idea that he was breaking the law and since being in court has lost his job at the centre due to limits to what he could do.
