Extra police officers wil be patrolling Ashfield from this week onwards in order to crack down on the illegal use of mini motos.
The Police will be targeting the trouble hotspots in the area which are used to ride the illegal bikes and quad bikes.
This has come after a number of complaints from lcoals, which complained about the high noise level and nuisance behaviour.
£20,000 has been invested in the project to crackdown on this anti social behaviour, the Local cabinet member for community safety has said that this is good news for people in the area who find this kind of behaviour unacceptable and annoying.
This area gets 5,000 complaints a year on average and therefore this is a problem which needed to be solved.
