Mini bike accidents

There have been two accidents in England leading to Police calling for a ban on mini moto imports from the middle east.

Eleven year old Michael Rickman, of Coombfield Drive died after the mini moto he and Michael Bonfield collided with a car. Rickman suffered 90 percent burns due to the accident and died in hospital shortly after.

Michael, who was twelve suffered 40 percent burns due to this accident. Him and his father are both backing a move for the ban on importation of mini motos.

The 43-year-old, of Tollgate Road, Stone, said: "The bikes are a real death-trap and have caused nothing but misery to people since they started.

"I used to be a motorbike fanatic but after my brother had an accident and then my son I'm not anymore."

He added: "People shouldn't buy them and then we wouldn't have this problem."
