mini bike death

There has been another mini bike death, this time in Bradford. The father to be was riding a childs mini bike when he was hit by a car.

Kamran Shah, 22, was illegally riding the bike when he was struck by David Webster's Ford Escort.

Webster was charged with dangerous driving after pulling right into wood road, Webster claimed that although looking either way three times he did not see the miniature motorcycle.

Mr Shah, when hit by the vehicle was riding a Stealth TX80S and was thrown into a windscreen of the Escort.

Mr Shah suffered serious head injuries after hitting the windscreen and falling to the floor, he then died the next day in hospital.

The bike involved in the accident was not intended for road use and also not meant to be ridden by people over 11 years old. Mr Shah was warned by the police not to ride the bike on the road, he failed to listen and take these commands on board.

He was riding the bike on the road without a helmet, protective clothing, a license and also was under the influence of cannabis at the time.

There are many reasons why investigators and Webster believe the bike was not seen, such as sunlight blocking the view and the sensitivity of mr Websters eyes, investigations into the cause are still going on.
