Police in Wales have started to help youths who illegally ride off road bikes and mini motos. They have started to send these youths off to campin the Welsh valleys, they believe that a small trip away in the summer is valuable time with the youths who offend in this way.
Sergeant Mark Eley said: "I found the week to be a very valuable and enjoyable time.
"I had the chance to speak to the youths on a personal level and could begin to see and understand some of the problems they face, I will find this insight invaluable when working within the community at Thamesmead."
It may be a strange way of combatting these 'criminals' but according to welsh police it helps to prevent re offending.
