The first mini moto club has been launched in London, this is to help keep children off the streets and to stop them riding their mini motos illegally.
The scheme to help battle the illegal use of these mini motos was set up and funded by East Barnet Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT).
The club was launched on Saturday at East Barnet school in Westbrook crescent. Riders are encouraged to bring their own bikes to the track which can be set up on any flat concrete surface.
The club is aimed at children between 6 and 16. As you probably already know, mini motos are not intended for use on Public footpaths or any public land, only private land.
The illegal use of these bikes has risen to such a high level that local organisations are having to set up these clubs which are a huge benefit to the children to the local community, as it battles anti social behaviour.
