A mini moto course has been set up for youngsters in the Doncaster area, this course aims to show children that mini motos are illegal and unsafe to ride in public places.
The course so far has had around 170 young people join aged between 10 and 17 years old.
These youngsters have already undergone part of the course and have learnt aqbout the legal and safe use of mini motos in a structured environment.
most of the youngsters on the course are from the west doncaster area where Police are tackling a large problem with the illegal use of mini motos.
The grounds used are Doncaster Council run Motorcross Park at Carcroft. There will be events held here in order for youngsters to test their new skills. These events will be held every friday during the summer holiday period with a final being held on September the 1st, at 1pm.
The funding for this course has been attained by the local network fund.
