Police in Workington are having a crackdown on mini motos and quad bikes being used illegally in the area.
The Police have called this operation minx West and aim to target the coastal footpath to Harrington and marina area, as well as the former golf course at Oldside and the rights of way as these are hotspots for the anti social riders.
Pc Richard Smillie has said that they will take enforcement action against the riders but wishes to educatethe public about the bikes and would like to see somewhere which people can ride their mini motos without causing a nuisance.
