Mini Motos come in 2 main types of engines, these are the 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
The two stroke engines produce more power for their size then the 4-stroke engines. This is because a 4 stroke will fire every other time whereas a 2-stroke engine fires every time the piston reaches the top of its travel.
This means that the 2 stroke engine in the same amount of time is producing almost double the power of the 4-stroke.
This is why the 2-stroke engine can rev alot higher then the 4-strokes and also produce more power.
