Mini motos have had a lot of bad publicity recently with Government wanting to confiscate and crush any bikes they found being used illegally, as well as giving riders points on their lisences.
The very famous Bike show at the Birmingham NEC is trying, this year, however to show everyone that these bikes are safe if used in a controlled environment.
The hosts of the show have held mini moto open days at the show, allowing spectators to go around a specifically designed track on a mini moto. They are trying to get across the point that when driven in a controlled environment these mini motos are extremely safe and incredible fun.
Lat year up yo 3,000 visitors ton the show tried out the mini motos and the feature was a huge success.
Julian Hayward, mini moto racing organiser has said that he feels that shows like this one, showcasing the importance of safety on a mini moto will help the public realise that they should not be driven on the road, anf may even get some more young stars in the making into racing these pocket bikes.
Lets hope the show is a huge success, especially the mini moto section.
