26th August is the day of the Wadebridge annual carnival. My little sister was miss summertime in the carnival and to be honest I had no intention of going to watch it, however my little sister had no one to drive her around after asking my uncle and numerous others.
It was only about 30 minutes before the carnival was due to start my mum came up with the idea of me driving my little sister around on the back of my midi moto. At first i was unsure but I really had no choice.
My mum stuck on a few signs onto the side of the bike, one being 'miss summertime'. I got to the park and as we queued to leave i felt extremely nervous. I drove round the streets of wadebridge for over 1 hour at snail like paces until eventually stopping again at the park.
That was where the fun began, me and my little brother had quality time to burn around the park which was without a doubt the highlight of the whole carnival. In the end it turned out that the carnival was actually pretty fun and i will probably repeat the experience next year.
