Just to add more bad new to the site, after attempting to start my little brothers mini moto I thought i'd try my midi moto. So I took ages to get it out of the shed and out to the front garden. It has electric start so i had no way of straining my self on the pull start.
I made the necessary changes to the choke, inserted the keys and tried to start but guess what, a flat battery. Just my luck, looks like I will have to wait a bit before I can ride again.
(Just thought I'd let you know, i still haven't got my petrol scooter fixed, waiting to buy a new spark plug)

Hello,
i am sorry to hear about your nieces minimoto.
I am not 100% what is wrong but try these few little things that may help.
1. clean out the carb and make sure all 3 screws are done up tight.
2. try tightening the mileniam join screws as it may be leaking there.
3.and if none of that works just switch the fuel tap off when you are not using it. (should always be switched off if not being used anyway.)
