A 12 year old boy in Miami has suffered serious head injuries whilst illegally riding his pocket bike.
According to traffic accident investigators Rolando Campos was riding his pocket bike when he collided with a mitsubishi at the intersection of Southwest 37th Avenue and Southwest 16th Street in Fort Lauderdale.
It was evident that Campos wa riding his pocket bike on the wrong side of the road and also failed to stop at a sign when he collided with Debra Pastorious' car.
In Miami as with most places it is illegal to ride a pocket bike on the road. Police have commented on how dangerous these machines are even though they are so small, due to their power they are not for children.
Police have not commented on who, if anybody will be charged in the crash.
Campos was rushed to Broward General Medical Center where doctors have classed him in a stable but serious condition, whereas the driver of the mitsubishi has come off completely uninjured, showing the dangers of riding these pocket bikes on the road.
