As of the 1st of October the majority of American stores which sell pocket bikes will have to give a copy of the law to each person which buys a pocket bike off them, to warn them that the bikes are not allowed to be used on Public highways.
Shops will also have to display a warning on the window of the shop so everyone knows the laws before purchasing a mini moto.
This has been done due to the number of children found riding the bikes illegally, and after parents have accompanied their child to court they have said that they were never warned of the law.
Therefore the shops must state the law before they sell the bikes and make his law very clear.
