Children as young as 10 years old have been hitting the streets illegally in Hollywood.
These children get on their mini motos and drive around the streets illegally on them, as most people know these vehicles are not road legal and should not be used on the road (only private property with permission from the owner).
Police are fearing for the young riders safety, however these riders say that they did not know that the mini motos and go peds which they are using are not road legal, and if were to be ridden on the road would need to have appropriate tests done and also have insurance and tax etc.
Police have said that these bikes are becoming more and more popular with youths riding them on the raod. The main age for these offences is riders between 10 and 16 and already the Police have issued 15 notices to youths in this age group.
