A 12 year old boy was among ten youths who were caught in an operation by police to combat vehicle crime.
The boy was charged for stealing a mini moto and then riding it away.
The other youths had charges such as stealing property from cars, and stealing and driving away.
Lewisham borough Police have said that motor crime is treated as a priority in the area, and will not be dealt with lightly.
