Police in Chester are having another campaign against the illegal use of mini motos in the area. Summer time last year was when the government had a huge crackdown on the illegal use of mini motos. Sometime later Chester are having another crack at combatting the people who ride these bikes illegally.
One hotspot which people have been using to ride these bikes illegally is Lache Adventure Playground and surrounding areas. These are the main areas which police want to cut down on the illegal use of these bikes.
It was believed that riders on this land could not face prosecution as the land was believed to be private. However after closer inspection it is clear now that the land is owned by the council and therefore police have the power to confiscate and crush any vehicle being used illegally in this area.
Police are teaming up with other action groups in the area to put a stop to the anti social or illegal use of these bikes.
