Two teenagers have been involved in a mini bike crash in Prestwich.
This happened at around 6.50pm on Tuesday, when two motorcycle police officers saw a mini moto riding along the road. There were 2 people on the mini bike.
The officers followed the bike down Bury new road where the officers spotted it turning into kings road. It was here that the bike collided with a mercedes car.
The 17 year old passenger of the mini bike is in Hospital with a serious head injury, a broken back and a broken arm. His condition has now been described as critical.
The 18 year old driver of the mini moto has suffered minor injuries and has been arrested under suspicion of dangerous driving.
The mercedes driver was uninjured.
