Mini moto riders are risking their lives by racing planes along a runway in Shotton airfield.
Ian Rosevinge is the owner of the airfield, and has said that he has a huge problem with people going onto the runway, including dog walkers and other trespassers but the main hazard are the mini moto riders.
The mini moto riders wait for the plane to take off and then race it down the runway, this is not only very dangerous but is against the law as these bikes are not meant to be in the airfield.
Police are looking for ways of stopping these mini moto riders from getting onto the runway and have expressed their concerns as to the danger faced by anyone on the runway.
If a plane were to land and their be people on the runway then this is likely to cause fatalities as people can not hear the planes landing as they always land against the wind.
