Two 16 year old boys have been injured when the mini moto thy were riding had a head on collision with a full size Honda Motorbike.
The Honda motorbike was written off although the rider had no serious injuries. One of the 16 year old boys was taken to southend hospital after complaining of a head injury.
Both of the boys attended the Rayleigh road policing unit for questioning but as of yet, neither boy has been charged.
Incidents like this highlight the dangers of using mini motos on the road, and it is hoped that others will see the dangers and take on board the advice from police which is not to use these illegally!
Many people blame the parents for incidents like this, but parents need to be careful now, especially if they have purchased the mini moto for their children as they too can receive penalty points on their licence for aiding and abetting.
