A Company based in Surrey which has left hundreds of its customers out of pocket has now moved to Egypt.

Trading standards in Surrey received over 2,000 complaints about R1 power Offroad which are an internet based company.

The family, Mowafi's, did not appear in Court and moved to Egypt. However Detective constable Chris Veale has said that the investigations are still ongoing and evidence is being collected so they can arrest the Mowafi's when they return to the UK.

The type of complaints aimed at the company was that goods were not received, refunds were not given when goods did not arrive and also that the products themselves were of very poor quality.

The chances of the hundreds of customers awaiting refunds of getting any money are now very slim.

The company also appeared on Watchdog in 2006 which they blamed the upset on factory errors.
