A successful mini moto campaign based in Whittlesey is now being replicated throughout the UK.
The campaign's main aim was to reduce the number of people using mini motos and other off road bikes illegally.
The scheme displayed posters warning that mini moto use was illegal around the hotspots for illegal use and also in these places high visibility patrols were placed to put people off using their bikes.
This campaign has been a great success with the number of incidents of people using their off road bikes illegally significantly decreasing.
If people are caught riding these bikes in the areas targeted then they may be issued a fine and get their bikes crushed.
